Production Technician - Shipping & Documentation Specialist

Then you might be the person we are looking for! We are looking for a Production Technician - Shipping & Documentation Specialist who will report to our Warehouse & Shipping Manager.
In this role you will support the daily shipping and logistics operations while ensuring accurate and timely preparation of customer material certifications and documentation. This role also provides administrative support to the production team to help maintain efficient workflow and on-time delivery performance.
This role will be based on-site at our Clinton, PA facility near the PIT Airport. Relocation is not being offered for this position.
Your profile consists of the following areas of experience, knowledge, and responsibility:
Shipping & Logistics
Assist in coordinating daily shipping activities, including carrier scheduling and shipment booking
Prepare and process shipping documentation (bills of lading, packing lists, and export documents as required)
Communicate shipment status with customers, carriers, and internal teams
Support resolution of shipping and logistics issues, including delays, damages, and routing challenges
Maintain accurate records within ERP and shipping systems
Customer Certifications & Documentation
Compile and review customer certification packages, including material test reports (MTRs), certificates of compliance, and inspection/test documentation
Ensure documentation meets customer purchase order requirements
Coordinate with Quality and Production to resolve documentation gaps
Maintain organized electronic records to support traceability and audit requirements
Production Administrative Support
Provide administrative support to the production team as needed
Support the flow of paperwork between Production, Quality, and Shipping to ensure completeness and timeliness
Perform data entry and support reporting within ERP and QMS systems
Cross-Functional Support
Act as a liaison between Shipping, Production, Quality, and Customer Service
Support continuous improvement efforts related to shipping processes and documentation accuracy to ensure on-time delivery

Requirements & Desired Characteristics:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 years' experience in logistics, manufacturing, or administrative support preferred
Experience with shipping processes, ERP systems, or quality documentation is a plus
Strong attention to detail, particularly with documentation and certifications
Organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
Effective communication skills across departments and with external contacts
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage time-sensitive tasks with accuracy
Professional demeanor when interacting with internal teams and customers
Flexibility to support urgent shipping and documentation needs
