Do you have a strong background and passion for Sales? Then you might be the person we are looking for! Take on the role as Outside Sales Rep and become a key part of our growing Sales & Customer Support team in LATAM.
This position will be based out of our Santigo, Chile office. Relocation is not being offered for the position.
As our Outside Sales Rep, you will be responsible for providing the highest level of service to the Nord-Lock Group’s customers and partners in conformance with established company policies and procedures. Negotiate and close sales deals to meet or exceed annual sales targets in the Latin America region, create and collaborate with the LATAM Manager a commercial strategy and initiatives to meet the goals. Sources new sales opportunities while understanding customer needs and requirements.
Your profile consists of the following areas of experience, knowledge, and responsibility:
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities and be responsible for generating new leads and prospects.
Researching potential clients, attending trade shows and industry events, and actively reaching out to potential customers to promote our products.
Contacting prospects through cold calling and email potential.
Build and maintain customer relationships: working closely with customers to understand their needs and providing the information they need to grow business.
Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers through regular communication, product demonstrations, training, visits and technical support.
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations by giving presentations and demonstrations to potential customers to showcase the features and benefits of our products. Explaining technical specifications, answering questions, and address any concerns or objections.
Providing technical support and assistance to customers before and after the sale. Help customers with troubleshooting issues, provide training on product usage, and offer recommendations for product improvements.
Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, logistics and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction. Provide feedback on customer needs and market trends and collaborate on marketing strategies.
Prepare sales reports and forecasts, that include tracking and reporting sales activities, customer visits, sales pipeline, and revenue forecasts.
Analyzing market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and treats.
Stay updated and informed on the latest industry trends, technologies, and competitive products. Attend training programs, workshops, and conferences to enhance your technical knowledge and sales skills.
Work closely with the customer service teams to prepare and send sales quotes to customers based on their requirements and specifications. Analyze pricing, product availability, and customer discounts to create accurate and competitive quotes.
Provide support to customer service when preparing and sending sales quotes for the other regions in LATAM.
Maintain and update customer information in the CRM system. To ensure accurate and up-to-date customer information, including contact details, purchase history, and communication logs.
Handle customer complaints and issues, working to resolve them in a timely and satisfactory manner. Coordinating with internal teams to address product quality issues, shipping delays, or any other customer concerns.
Supporting customer service and logistics to maintain purchases and inventory levels satisfactorily to meet market demand.
Support logistics team to handle goods to be shipped to customers and all the logistics tasks as necessary.

Requirements & Desired Characteristics
Bachelor's degree in business administration or engineering or formal technical training with a minimum of 2 years sales experience focused in and industry segment such as mining, forestry, oil & gas, or power generation.
Experience in sales, customer relationship management, and business development.
Basic familiarity with CRM tools is a plus but not required.
Experience with prospecting techniques (cold calling, cold emailing, social selling).
Interest in sales methodologies.
Comfortable using digital tools and analyzing sales metrics.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with clarity and persuasion.
Results-driven mindset with discipline to follow structured processes.
Team-oriented and collaborative spirit.
Intermediate English and basic Spanish skills, both written and spoken
