This position will be based at KL, Malaysia and reports to GM - Oceania. This position will be work closely with Oceania team, and also enjoy working together with other team members at KL office in Malaysia, with the ambition to support, challenge and develop each other on a daily basis.”
The role as Inside Sales - Oceania
- Place orders in D365, Setup and maintain customer files in CRM
- Follow up order status with factories, update customer and sales team
- Take ownership of Info@ and Order@ Mailboxes
- Present price and credit terms in accordance with standard procedures and customers’ profitability profiles
- Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes or returns
- Provide accurate information regarding availability of in-stock items
- Obtain accurate information from vendors and factories relating to shipment dates and expected date of delivery
- Provide regular reports, report progress during regular meetings
- Educate customers about terminology, features and benefits of products in order to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction
- Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed
- Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaint
- Fill requests for catalogs, information or samples
- Remain current on consumer preferences, changes in local codes and product developments by attending sales meetings, vendor training and trade shows, or reading trade journals
- Identify trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction
- Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the team
- Follow company policies and procedures
Requirements
[Education requirement]:
- Educational background in Logistics, or equivalent.
- At least 3 years’ experience from working in an inside sales role
- Preferably has worked in a B2B environment
[Trades]:
- Good communication skill in English, both verbal and written
- Good communicator and content creator and experience in working with Corporate Identity and branding
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office apps
- Knowledge of working with CRM systems; Microsoft D365 experience is of advantage
[Personality]:
- Pleasant personality, good with internal and external customer
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated with passion for the field of work
