In the role as our Utility Worker, you will perform a variety of tasks to support the Pittsburgh facility and the production and repair of products in all departments.
This role that will be based at our Clinton, PA facility near the PIT Airport.
Relocation is not being offered for this position.
As the Utility Worker on our team, you will provide:
- General upkeep of buildings, ie, painting, cleaning, sweeping, facility trash removal, etc.
- Assist production with parts cleaning, deburring and oiling.
- Emptying of chip dumpsters.
- Understand and use of basic hand tools and grounds keeping equipment.
- Keeping outside of machines and work area clean
- Moving product from one work area to another to help stage the flow of work.
- Miscellaneous tasks required to assist in the daily production process.
- Participate in continuous improvement in safety, quality, and housekeeping.
- This list in not all inclusive and may include other duties as assigned and necessary for the operation and management of the business.
Requirements & Desired Characteristics:
- High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 6 months experience working in a
manufacturing environment. - Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is a plus.
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and work well with others.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and
willing and able to learn and improve in all skill areas. - Follows all systems, policies, and procedures.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, including attention to
detail. - Compiles, maintains, and files all required paperwork, records, and documents, as
directed. - Participates in trainings related to the company and/or job responsibilities.
- Willing and able to safely operate a fork truck and overhead cranes.
- Valid driver’s license.
