Do you have a strong background and passion for customer service excellence and providing solutions for our customers. Then you might be the person we are looking for to take on the role as our Customer Service Representative reporting to our Inside Sales Manager in our Business Unit TenEx.
In the role as our Inside Sales Representative your mission will be to provide exceptional service to our customers and ensuring their needs are met. You will be involved in the day-to-day sales and customer experience process. As a member of this team, you will extensively collaborate with multiple other departments and stakeholders within the organization, as well as client-side. This role will assist internal and external stakeholders as needed.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others and has excellent communication skills.
This role that will be based at our Clinton, PA facility near the PIT Airport.
Relocation is not being offered for this position.
As the Customer Service Representative on our team, you will:
- Provide exceptional service to customers via phone and email.Process orders in a timely manner.
- Respond to inquiries related to product specifications, pricing, lead times, and order status.
- Assist customers in identifying appropriate products or custom configurations based on their technical needs.
- Maintain detailed and accurate customer records, orders, and communications in ERP systems.
- Collaborate with engineering, outside sales, and production teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of customer orders.
- Meet performance targets such as response time and customer satisfaction.
- Continuously stay informed about company products, updates, and industry trends to effectively assist customer.
- This list is not all inclusive and may include other duties as assigned and necessary for the operation and management of the business.
Requirements & desired characteristics:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year in a customer service position, preferably in an industrial products-based industry, preferably with some inside sales experience.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively.
- Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills, as well as sound judgement, professionalism, confidentiality, phone & email etiquette, and good decision-making skills.
- Ability to communicate and develop relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent time management skills, communicate effective and professionally, both verbally and in writing, including email and extensive telephone correspondence.
- Must be able to effectively organize and prioritize a high volume of work.
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system is a plus.
- Must demonstrate acute attention to detail and high level of accountability & accuracy in handling customer information.
