Do you have a strong background and passion for sales excellence and providing solutions for our customers. Then you might be the person we are looking for to take on the role as our Inside Sales Representative reporting to our Head of Sales for North America in our Business Unit TenEx.
In the role as our Inside Sales Representative your mission will be to provide the highest level of service to the Nord-Lock Group’s customers and partners in conformance with established company policies and procedures. Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and extensive outbound calls. Understand customer needs and requirements. Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales team members for further development and closure and manage some direct customer accounts.
This role that will be based at our Clinton, PA facility near the PIT Airport.
Relocation is not being offered for this position.
As the Inside Sales Representative on our team, you will provide:
Sales & Customer Service
- Makes outbound calls and emails to customers.
- Handles inbound leads, including, but not limited to, phone calls, and emails for customers.
- Provides product quotations.
- Enters orders.
- Manage CRM, including direct responsibility, or assignment of in-bound leads.
- Serves as primary support resource for customer inquiries.
- Maintains contact with appropriate frequency with all customers.
- Learns customer and market tendencies, trends, and processes.
- Identify and communicate larger opportunities to Sales Management.
- Supports sales through service, education and effective problem solving.
- Communicates and coordinates customer information and requests to Outside Sales team and Sales Management as appropriate.
- Manages customer opportunities and reports to sales management monthly and as needed.
- Support Sales Management with other responsibilities as required.
Service and Product Knowledge
- Maintains knowledge of all current company services, products, schedules, programs and other similar data, as required.
- Participates in on-going training, as required, to continue learning and improving all skills.
- Understands and appropriately uses the company pricing systems and policies.
- Ability to learn and train on Nord-Lock Group company products to be able to up-sell, cross-sell, and solution-based sell.
Team Support
- Supports the company vision & mission.
- Makes recommendations to sales management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs, including trends and feedback.
- Assists in development of reports and strategic sales planning.
- Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing all other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
- Maintains positive and professional relationships with all departments to complete projects and resolve issues.
Administrative
- Organizes workflow to meet internal and external deadlines.
- Compiles, maintains and files all required paperwork, records and documents, to include CRM, sales reports, etc., as directed.
- Manages telephone calls and emails professionally, efficiently and with good communication skills.
- Maintains project and sales tracking reports and delivers on time to sales management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years' experience of Inside Sales, or equivalent successful experience in a similar technical position.
- Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills, as well as sound judgement, professionalism, confidentiality and good decision-making skills.
- Ability to communicate and develop relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent time management skills, communicate effective and professionally, both verbally and in writing, including email and extensive telephone correspondence.
- Must be able to effectively organize and prioritize a high volume of work.
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system is a plus.
- Must demonstrate acute attention to detail and high level of accountability.
- Willing and able to travel domestically when needed.
