This position will be homebased in China and reports to Senior Sales Manager - China and is a part of Nord-Lock China team with members both at Shanghai office and others across the country, with the ambition to support, challenge and develop each other on a daily basis.
The role as Sales Manager - Wind Power Industry - China
Work scope:
- Achieve sales targets set by the company in terms of sales revenue, profit margin, profits, new product development, new customer development, etc. within the responsible area.
- Maintain good business relationships with existing customers and strive to develop new customers.
- Develop weekly work plans and customer visit plans, and continuously improve the quantity and quality of customer visits during the work process.
- Strive to discover new business opportunities, continuously follow up on the progress of quotations and opportunities and make on-time updates in CRM until the project is completed.
- Use CRM to register daily work, customer visit records and reports, and regularly maintain customer information and data in CRM.
- Actively participate in internal company training to improve professional skills.
- Strive to collect typical successful cases and business expansion methods within your own region, share information and learn from experience with other team members, enhance collaboration, and improve team strength.
- Other tasks arranged by the company and superiors.
Job requirements:
- Educational requirements: Bachelor's degree or above, with a preference for engineering backgrounds such as mechanical design and materials engineering.
- Language/communication requirements: Mandarin: fluent, logical, influential English: good English reading/writing skills, be able to communicate in English in daily work condition.
- Office software requirements: Proficient in using office software and CRM (training available).
- Industry background: Sales experience in industry of wind power generation with bolted product knowledge or sales experience preferred.
- Work experience: More than 5 years of sales work experience.
- Be able to travel frequently, track proven experience of successful new customer and sales development skills.
