We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for accurately pulling, packing, and shipping customer orders while maintaining stock levels in the warehouse.
Your profile consists of the following areas of experience, knowledge, and responsibility:
- Pull, pack and ship orders in an efficient and accurate manner.
- Use basic measurement equipment such as calipers and thread gages to verify product identity.
- Track and adjust inventory in the MRP system.
- Organize space in the warehouse and perform cleaning duties.
- Organize stock and maintain inventories
- Inspect goods for defects and damages
- Load and unload freight
- Able to perform basic blueprint reading.
- Some testing of basic equipment will be required after training when workload allows it, as part of training for future opportunities.
- Able to use basic hand tools to achieve required results.
- Focus on work safely and maintaining a safe work environment

Requirements & Desired Characteristics:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience working in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment is preferred
• Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 50 pounds and use of cranes for parts weighing over 50 pounds
• Willing and able to operate overhead cranes and forktruck
• Able to determine the correct equipment to complete daily work tasks.
• Read, understand, and follow work instruction documents
• Strong people skills with the ability to communicate and develop relationships
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, including diligence and multi-tasking
• Requires excellent written and oral communication skills
• Previous experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is a plus
• Proficient computer skills such as emailing, record keeping, and MRP software
• Must have the ability to work in a demanding environment and be willing to learn and improve in all skill areas.
• Properly clean and maintain packing equipment in the department
