Do you have a strong background and passion for sales, customer service and success? Then you might be the person we are looking for! Take on the role as Regional Sales Manager-PNW and report to our Head of Sales-NAM.
As a Regional Sales Manager at Nord-Lock Group, you will support our Business Unit Nord-Lock in the PNW. You will be responsible for the planning input and implementation of the sales and marketing programs, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new markets.
The role will report to our Clinton, PA facility but you will be able to work remotely in the PNW region. The preferred location is Seattle or Tacoma, but we will consider other locations in the PNW within 45 miles of a major international airport.
Your profile consists of the following areas of experience, knowledge, and responsibility:
- Be responsible for all sales functions within the defined territory.
- Development of key business relationships within the territory, with a primary responsibility to identify and develop opportunities for business expansion.
- Establishes and maintains close personal contact with customers and distribution partners.
- Insures the effective use of the sales accountability program throughout the territory.
- Works closely with Engineering, Marketing, Production and Inside Sales Staff to meet customer expectations.
- Provides input for sales strategies within the territory that will produce maximum market penetration.
- Identifies objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings.
- Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts; building rapport with buyers and engineers; providing technical information and explanations; coordinating the preparation of quotations.
- Cultivates new business accounts by answering telephone, fax, and e-mail inquiries, verifying and entering information into CRM system.
- Fills orders by transferring orders to fulfillment; communicating expected delivery date; explaining manufacturing timelines.
- Develops accounts by checking customer's buying history; suggesting related and new items; explaining technical features.
- Maintains and improves quality results by following standards, recommending improved policies and procedures.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Requirements & Desired Characteristics:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales role or a minimum of 10 years of equivalent experience in sales.
- Experience in the Fastener industry and/or OEM/MRO preferred.
- Experience and success working in remote teams.
- Must be willing and able to travel both up to 50%.
- Proficient with MS operating systems (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Proficiency with the CRM and other sales management tools.
- Goal orientated, able to manage sales goals, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to identify prospective customers, build relationships, and close the deal.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Must live within 45 miles of major international airport.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
